Dredging starts today and is targeted to complete in early April 2021
Tanjung Priok Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Deny Tri Hendarto mentioned, dredging was carried out to normalize Danau Indah Barat connecting channel thus it can be optimal in function and hold more water.
"Dredging starts today and is targeted to complete in early April 2021," he conveyed, Wednesday (3/17).
Rawa Kepa Connecting River Being Dredged for Maximum Water CapacityDanau Indah Barat connecting channel has length of 550 meters, width of 2.5 meters, and depth of 2.5 meters with mud thickness of one meter.
"In this dredging, we use one wheel excavator and three dump trucks. We also deploy three Tanjung Priok SDA Unit to dredge this connecting channel," he explained.
Through dredging, his side hopes connecting channel can hold more water, especially when heavy rain falls thus it can minimize inundation.
